There are not such words which can describe the beauty and spirituality of Golden Temple Amritsar. Living under 100km radius we used to go there every month almost.
So This is the year ending visit to that heavenly holy place on 11 Dec 2019 with My MOM. As she is my travelling partner 😁
Working days doesn't offer you much time to stay but from kapurthala punjab its 75km far and around 1.5hour car ride to Golden temple.
Welcomed by slight fogg on highways and to enjoy Ram ladoo and lemon soda on the bridge of Beas is refreshing your soul.
From jalandhar to amritsar there are 2 toll plaza which is under 100 rupees for return journey
we've reached there in 1.5 hour enjoying tea on dhaba and ram ladoo on beas bridge. Went direct to parking space. It was 6 of the evening so not so crowdy parking we got easy and convenient place to park our car and then the walk towards temple has started.
just before entrance there is a small coffee vending machine here you can enjoy cappuccino, latte, frappe and many more by nescafe in minimal prices. Because sometimes it takes 2 to 3 hours to go inside Temple because of crowd and long ques of devotees..
After doing The parikrama (whole round of temple) we prayed in shri akal takhat sahib, and then had parshaad (halwa callwd kadaah parshaad) and get back to the market place.. shortage of time so we couldn't be able to go to museum.. do not forget to be there..
Both the views are mesmerizing, night time the lights are amazing and day time you can enjoy the shining gold covered temple..

On the way back we went to the amritsar Haveli the traditional restaurant situated on national highway 1 and 8km far from amritsar.. The sculpture and the music takes you to that Golden punjabi era also the food and cleanliness is by far the best in Town. Yeah you will be surprised by the prices also its so pocket friendly..
