We opted for the package from 9am to 6pm which includes breakfast-lunch-high tea and the cost was Rs.1400 per person. Though initially compare to other places we found it quite expensive for a day visit but after going through the pics and reviews we found it interesting and worth visiting. Still the doubt was in the mind. How would it be?? After spending Rs.1400 per person we want the place to be good for money. Right??
So the trip began at 7.30 in the morning and by 9 A.M we were there.
The trip with your friends cum family is always joyful and we were group of 2 couples with 3 kidos. As soon as we entered the premises the peacefulness, the greenery, the blossoming flowers and the trail towards the premises enraptured us. The view of the mountains and the backwater of Khadakwasla was so spectacular and mesmerising that we were awe struck and eager to relish the mammoth of Sun & Shades.
Intent to visit the Splendour Country Club
RELAXATION - To relax your body, mind and soul this is one of the best place where one can ordeal all the above three relaxing expedients. Sitting in the swimming pool facing the elevated mountain top and hinterland was so staggering that one will forget everything and just cherish the moment of tranquility and quietude. We were inside the pool for almost 3 hrs but still the marvellous view, scorching heat and the relaxation mode inside the pool was not brooking us to come out. The Rock Cascade and slide in the pool was icing on the cake. Along with the Swimming pool, Foam Dance and the Rain Dance was also there to perpetuate the melody of music and rhythm at par. The foam dance was amazing as if we were playing with the snow and the best part of it was that along with us kidos enjoyed it the most.A fun pool for kids and Jacuzzi pool was alao there but the jacuzzi pool was not quite persuasive. Moreover the Gazebo's, Hammock swing and Porch swing were plunked where one can just lie down lighten their body and mind and adore the landscape beauty of nature in peace.
We travel not to escape life but for life not to escape us".Remembering the beautiful and so true lines read in a book. Busy life with loads and loads of personal and professional commitments, shall we not escape the Maniac Mondays or lazy Sunday for a refreshing break?
We also thought to go for a day break and spend some quality time for ousrselves. The search began and our wanderer expert friend Shrikant came up with Splendour Country Club.
The Splendour Country Club provides a perfect gateway to relax, chill and rejuvenate in a pristine ambience for a day. Different time slots with packages are there to visit the property and enjoy the vicinity of the resort.
ADVENTOROUS - If we are going for a trip along with relaxation it should be full of adventures also. Right?? Good for body and also to know how much vigour and energy we are carrying in ourselves. In short how fit we are to carry out the different activities. In Splendour Country there were different activities like crossing the bridge, rock climbing, wall climbing, zip line. The summer has arrived in Pune and the blistering sun rays exhausted us in some time doing the above activities but it was fun especially for me as I was recovering from ligament injury from last two months still went for the activities. Quite courageous??So hats off to me also. :) One can enjoy the activities more in the evening once the torrid heat calms down.
SCENIC VIEW - We the people staying in urban areas crave for scenic views and look around for places to visit with the most stunning and heavenly eye shots, photo shots, and environs. The Splendour country is one of those place with beautiful panoramic views of mountains and backwaters with galvanizing and soul-stirring vibes of the sight. We have experienced this and literally after staying for a day also we were not keen to leave the place and its anthemic views.
FOOD - The place with moreish food is always worth visiting and the Splendour Country Club's food was just yum-yum. The package included breakfast, lunch and high-tea and all the three meals with different and lots of varieties were luscious and scrummy. Sorry guys could not take the pics of lunch as I was so hungry after the activities and swimming sessions that I could not stop myself to just hopped on to the delicious delicacies and skip the photos of lunch menu.
GAME ZONE - Game zone with activities like Pool, Table Tennis, Carrom and Ludo was there to engage and make the people chillax in enjoying indoor activities inside the premises. Tread mill to burn the calories you gain from the delish food 😉and Massaging chair to mitigate the pain after the activities was also there.
KIDS ZONE - Kids area with trampoline, slides, swings, sea- saw, spring rider, net bridge, small tunnels were tabulated to keep the kids busy in their arena. The searing heat could not stop the kids to play and enjoy in their sphere.
KARAOKE - I am not a singer nor have a good vocals but still after seeing the Karaoke I could not resist myself to experiment my voice in Karaoke for the very first time. The old hindi song and one of my favourites "Mera jeevan Kora Kaagaz " and "Kya hua tera vaada" was in my list. I enjoyed the Karaoke session and others accompanying me also had a great time singing and listening to the music. Sometimes its good to go and do things out of your zone and Karaoke was one of them for us.
Enveloped in drowsy stupour, the rustic beauty, scrumptious food myriad adventure, gaming areas, gorgeous swimming pool, specially designed rain dance and foam dance floor with DJ's, will keep anyone enthralled and entertained at Splendour Country Club.
