Bajarwadi Village, it is around a hour and half or two hours drive from Pune city.

Grassroute is the organisation working on this amazing project which runs responsible and community based Rural Tourism, experiential travel and weekend getaway!

When I heard about this I loved the idea and wanted to visit and experience this asap.

I overall Bajarwadi experience was amazing.. I stayed with the local family in their own house, helped the didi in cooking and had a lot of converasations as language wasnt a barrier, then one guy who lives in the same village was my guide and he showed me his village, met different people, saw the different activities mainly related to farming as the most of them do farming, farming is their main source of income and the main occupation, played with the children and had amazing time! .

I then visited the temple and went to see the sunset with them.

The food was delicious and authentic. Loved the food!! Also, went to see the sunrise from the Rohida fort also called as Vichitra Gad
