1. Hospitality
One thing which can elevate the travel experience to another level is the people of that region. Bhutanese People are very polite, warm and friendly in nature. They are always ready to help be it on a Restaurant, Tourist Spot, Hotels or any Shops.
2. It's Just Beautiful
Yeah, that true. Bhutan is just beautiful. You can find that the whole country is surrounded by mountains, covered with lush green and consist of many rivers. Apart from being blessed the people of Bhutan plays a major role in conserving the environment. It's their effort which has made Bhutan a carbon-negative country and brought the whole worlds attention.
3. Gho & Kira(Bhutan's traditional Dress)
There is a common saying when you are in Bhutan dress like Bhutanese. One cannot miss the experience of wearing Gho(For Men) and Khira(For Women).In many shops, this dress is rented at a minimal cost of Rs 200.
4.Indulge in having some Bhutanese Cuisine
While most of the dishes are common with Indian cuisine. But some of their local authentic food are Ema Datshi – (chillies and cheese), Kewa Datshi(Potato and Cheese), Jasha Maroo, Red Rice. For cheese overs Bhutan can be your home. A good amount of cheese is used in their food. There are many restaurants and cafes where all these delicacies are available.
5. Dzongs and Monasteries
Bhutan consists of many Dzongs and Monastries out of which the important ones are Punakha Dzong and Tiger Nest Monastery. Punakha Dzong is a delight to visit with a beautiful river flowing on one side. This Dzong has a special status in Bhutan. All the important Ceremony are performed over here. Likewise, on the other hand, TigerNest Monastery holds a special status in Bhutanese History, to reach this place one has to trek about 4.5Km uphill.
