We took a bus from Bangalore at 11 pm on Friday and reached Pondicherry at 4:30 am
Went to hotel to keep the luggage and started for sunrise at Promenade Beach , it was lovely .
Our hotel was walking distance from the beach .
Saw sunrise and sat there for some time until the tummy started asking for food .
We walked to baker street , this place is famous breakfast spot among foreign tourist as they serve awesome coffee and croissant . This place is open real early like 6:30 am . We went there at 8 am and it was completely packed. The breakfast was absolutely amazing
Got back to hotel and waited to check in , the hotel was decent . Checked in and had lunch there only.
In evening went to Rock Beach and stayed there enjoyed the roadside market and got few home decorations from there at good price . Don't forget to bargain.
The beaches are clean and not that crowded.
Had dinner at this place , found good reviews on ZOMATO . It was a nice place in the street , walkable from beach .
In morning went to get a vespa near the hotel to roam around and go to pradise Beach.
This is a little outside the main city , not much views on the way to chunnambar boat house.
We went early so as to get the first boat . You have to take an entry ticket and after that take a boat or speed boat to the island .
The ride to the island is 20 min and it is nice experience . The island doesn't have any shops , so carry water and eatable . The beach is really clean and maintained . There are shades for sitting and changing area as well .
Came back from island and went around in Whitetown , had lunch here at #Dilliwale which is a beautiful place with really yummy north indian food .
After lunch we headed back to hotel and its time to go back .
Pondicherry is a beautiful small place which can be explored on foot for best experience . We went in Feb and the weather was hot and humid.
The food is amazing , we ate woodfired pizza , had faluda and had south indian food . If you are pondi don't miss on the food they have to offer .
