Hi guys, I'm Vineet Pal Singh Rauniwal, 24 yo, from Indore, India. I’ve been traveling since I was 19 yo. I was never a big traveler. Outside friends-trip to Goa and college-trip to Manali, I had no travel experience. During my semester breaks, I wanted to use that time to travel. After all, it was vacation time, right? So for my first trip, actually it was an interview for SSB at Vizag, Andhra Pradesh. After completing my interview process, I met with some locals, felt different culture of south, backpacking all alone. I believe this intrigued me the most. I had about 3,000 INR with me which I got for my travel allowance from Indore-to-Vizag, and I started googling "things to do in Vizag", "Vizag attractions", "food to eat at Vizag" and many more... When I had planned about everything, I looked for a transport especially scooter to hire, shared taxi, hitchhike... And I got along with all kind of ideas which could minimize my travel cost. When my whole 2-days trip ended, I felt like there was something which has been edited in me, which I later came to know that I was travel-soiled. I went on backpacking all alone to South-India. That trip changed my life. It opened me up to the possibilities of the world. I was just a sheltered middle class kid before that trip. In my first solo trip, I experienced other cultures, got lost in a jungle, saw things which I had either read in books or heard of and met people from different cultures, different geographies. Recently, I have travelled to Rajasthan in a budget of 10,000 INR and with that I have couchsurfed, homestayed, hitchhiked and lived like a local.
