www.escapingsoul.in I am a travel enthusiast, photographer by choice and Lawyer by profession. After working for many years the thrust to do something beyond professional scope and to develop personality, led myself to Travel, adventure sports, study of nature and photography. I got fascinated by the versatility of nature’s amazing life cycle – be it birds, animals, trees or marine life. This interest ultimately pushed me to study and take up a course with [BNHS- Bombay Natural History Society] – Leadership Course in Biodiversity Conservation and make this hidden treasure of wealth of knowledge open to my family and friends. I completed my course in Biodiversity Conservation from BNHS with an “A” grade and becoming a “Naturalist” was an achievement. Whilst my interest in mountaineering started few years ago, again the time had come to go beyond what is done and achieved i.e. to take a giant leap ahead. With guidance and more importantly preparation which requires tremendous patience along with building a greater stamina, I enrolled myself in Basic Mountaineering Course in Nehru Institute of Mountaineering, UttarKashi (“NIM”). Though it’s termed as ‘Basic’, but for amateur mountaineers, it’s nothing lesser than summiting a Himalayan peak. In these institutes, mountaineers are not only trained, but are moulded to participate in expeditions and summit a peak in Himalayas. Especially as NIM is a well respected institute known for it’s discipline and tough courses due to its Indian Army management. To completing the course itself is a task but getting an ‘A’ grade was a huge achievement for me. Further, I managed to clear this course with a high grade! I love to explore and get a great thrill of knowing the minute details of ecology to help in saving, protecting it for generations ahead. Will end this by saying – Professions are selected, but passions are not. Passions are developed over a period of time
