I work as a Finance professional for a living but I am a travel freak at heart. I don’t remember when the travel bug exactly hit me but distant off-beat places and cultures have always fascinated me early in life. A Keralite by birth, I grew up in Kolkata (City of Joy} and I am fortunate to imbibe the ethos of both the places. Whenever I feel stuck in a rut in the mundane life and yearn for some different challenges and experiences, I plan a trip. The pleasant tingling feeling of anticipation of planning a trip is as intoxicating as the journey itself. Sometimes it is blissfull to just sit in an unfamiliar place and soak in the ambience and watch the world go by in its own pace. At other times just staring awestruck at the natural wonders crafted by our creator. Of course trying out local cuisines is an added bonus for a foodie like me."If we were meant to stay in one place, we’d have roots instead of feet".
