Hola! I am Nishant Singh. I’m currently a final year undergraduate student of Electronics and Communication Engineering at the National Institute of Technology, Uttarakhand. Here I have been exploring my interests in Image Processing, Embedded Systems, Robotics, Adventure Sports, Photography and Writing. I started travelling at the young impressionable age of 6 and have been to several states of India. I discovered my passion for travelling and exploring new places when I first picked up Gulliver’s Travels by Jonathan Swift in class 8. Since then, I have trekked in the mountain valleys of Kashmir, snorkeled in the clear waters of Andaman and Nicobar islands, found the meaning of inner peace sitting beneath the Bodhi Tree in Bodh Gaya and experienced the thrill of solitude in Darjeeling and Cherrapunji. I love reading autobiographies, the current favorite being An Astronaut’s Guide to Life on Earth by Astronaut Chris Hadfield. I’m an obsessive Dark Knight Trilogy and Middle Earth Saga fan. I have recently started running and will rigorously pursue endurance sports like Marathon and Triathlon in the coming years. I’m a solitary traveler; a foot soldier which basically means I love travelling alone. I like to scribble on napkins, tissue papers, yellow and brown pages. I often spend my nights on the roof, watching the twinkling stars, finding patterns among them and occasionally scribbling in my journal. Even though I’m in my early twenties, yet I get excited like a child on spotting a plane flying in the sky. I especially love to watch those airplanes at night.
