In May 2016, I quit my job to finally fulfill my bucket list of exploring the 7 unexplored hidden states of north east India. I had just worked for a year after graduating from IIM Lucknow. I even had half of my educational loan unpaid and just one month of salary. Nevertheless I went ahead with my plan and spent 4 months exploring the unexplored paradise, trying to understand its unique culture, the problems plaguing the tourism sector there and how to address the false apprehensions that potentials travels have regarding north eastern states of India. I have also travelled/biked across the hilly mountaneous terrain of India from Chandrataal to Bhutan, from Spiti to India's second highest lake in North Sikkim. I have also ventured into Nepal, Bhutan, Myanmar, Bangladesh and even the Chinese border posts without ever taking a flight. I am looking forward to do something in the travel space especially involving the north eastern states.
