One of the most magnificent buildings in Town Hall Square is the House of Blackheads (circa 1334 and rebuilt in 1995-99), which once hosted a brotherhood of foreign merchants and now serves as both a museum and concert hall.

Nightclub Kalku Varti is legendary and has earned its respect in years. Classic club atmosphere makes it stand out and the twist is it’s location - a historical old cellar. "A" level sound and lighting system tops it all off.

Completed in 1935 to commemorate Latvian independence, this symbolic statue in Old Town shows the image of Liberty holding three stars in her outstretched hands, symbolizing unity of the country.
