The moment we landed in Phuket, rain gods showered their love on us and our whole was accompanied by rain, but still no regrets as I am a Pluviophile :)

Day 1

Once you reach the island, begin your vacation with exploring the local market, chilling by the famous patong beach, trying some local cuisine and local beer and pub hopping at Bangla street, though these places are quite crowded but it gives you the vibe of the island. And offcourse! try to squeeze in Thai massage in your schedule(daily if possible) because it’s totally worth it!

Day 2

Begin your day with some Thai breakfast in one of the many cafes with a beach view. After breakfast, you can choose to rent a two-wheeler or a cab and visit around the island. We were lucky to reach Rawai beach while randomly exploring the island and it turned out to be one of the best experience of the whole vacation. This beach is away from the crowd, few pubs facing the beach and a bridge that goes to the middle of the sea. So, you can sit in the middle of the sea and just enjoy the vibe of the place.

After cherishing the laid back feel of the island, prepare yourself for an hour of fun filled Simon cabaret. You’ll not realize where the time flies while you are dancing in your seats. Well after this it’s your call how you want to end your day- you can just chill by the beach, drink and dance the night away at Bangla street or get a massage and sleep the night away

Day 3

Going to a place and not exploring the culture makes it incomplete, so keep a day to explore the culture. You can pick a monastry/temple to visit and seeing Big Buddha is definitely a must.

For one day, you can plan a visit to Siam Niramet or Phuket Fantasea or you can keep it for some water adventure sport- scuba, snorkelling, whatever interests you. We didn’t have an option as it was raining constantly so we chose going to Phuket Fantasea and experienced their fancy buffet, theater and few cultural dances and show in the theme park.

We had just 3 days to spend in Phuket but you can easily spend a week in this beautiful island- interacting with the locals, trying local cuisine, drinking coconut water or local beer(singha/chang) whatever you prefer, getting thai massage and chilling by the beach.
