Three days of super hectic jungle activities along with about 95 km speedboat ride along the Amazon.
Everyday you wake up very early (4.00) to go catch the sunrise or the early riser animals. And at night you take your torchlight to venture into the jungle to spot the nocturnal (tip: Don't use head mounted lamps. That will attract all the insects to your face).
You live in a giant hut, in your cozy room. Lack of electricity is added bonus to the hot and humid atmosphere (make sure you know what you are getting into). But when a tropical storm hits, cool breeze and rain lashes you with love.
Chase the dolphins, enjoy sunrise and sunset on the mighty river, walk into the jungle, spot monkeys and snakes. Catch Piranhas, fry them and eat.
Enjoy the boat ride - watch the villages in the shores go past. The boat seemed like the TGV of the Amazon, it was way faster than all other boats.
Apart from that, enjoy being in the nature, and think how to survive. You will get stuck in mud, get bitten by zillions of insects. You need to watch out for snakes - on the ground, in the water and up in the trees. Visit the nearby villages to see a different way of life - find and celebrate the modern touches on the ancient people.
Share a laugh with the school kids spending days in the jungle, because more often than not, the only teacher of the school is absent.
I wished it was my childhood.
