Har Ki Pauri is considered to be the most holy spots to take a dip in the Ganga river. A dip at this spot is said to clean out all our sins. The feeling was purely divine to finally visit Har Ki Pauri.
Floral tributes and lit up diyas floating on the Ganges is the most enchanting sight one gets at this ghat.
Lord Vishnu is believed to have left his foot prints on a rock at this ghat.
The Ganga herself is both the deity and temple at Haridwar. The moment you step into the water the cold snatches away all sensation leaving you numb and breathless but then the moment of faith take the dip and you are reborn ,no more cold, no more numb, no more pain but sheer of joy will not leave at least for another hour. The water is not deep but currents are very strong .Be safe and enjoy the bath with thousands of others. Don't forget to perform puja at the Ganga temple and the Haricharan temple right on the ghat itself.❤
