Day 1

Reached hampi from Chennai by morning.
Got freshen up in a cottage and had a very awesome breakfast.
Then started our hampi site seeing for the day..!
We started our day by visiting gains Narasima statue continued with badavi lingam.
Then we witnesses twin sister rocks when we are on the way for underground Siva Temple.
Around afternoon, visited the settlement where Kings palace was used to be but now it's totally destroyed only the basement remains.!
Followed by, We started our journey towards Zenana Enclosure, was primarily the Women's Quarters. A part of the Royal Enclosure, this was a place especially for the Royal women i.e. the Queen and her friends and companions used to live. Lotus Mahal is a monument that stands out in its design and style from most of the structures of Hampi. Another complex, for royal women, this one gets its name from the lotus-like dome, then had a walk towards 🐘 stable.
Then from there we proceed towards Vithalla Temple.

Vithalla Temple is most ruined temples of Hampi rich in ancient architecture and lots to say.! Main God and Goddess statue of Vithalla Temple is now placed in Pandharpur town of Maharashtra. Several hallways, gateway, towers and pavilions makes this Temple very beautiful. The highlight of the Vithalla Temple is some chariot which is considered as iconic Structure of Hampi.

Day 2

Started our day by doing a small early morning  #DayTrekWonders to Malyavantha hill for beautiful sunrise.
Then we started our journey towards Anjanadri hill, the birth place of Lord Hanuman. Where we had majestic view of Kishkinda along with the flow of River Bhramabhurta. Then headed towards Pampasarovar, shabari ashrama
Then we started to Virupaksha Temple, which is the only functioning Temple of Hampi. This Temple was actually dedicated to Lord Shiva in his third eye avathar. This Temple has stood through the trails of time, especially when the city was burnt to ground but the temple stood tall admist of the fire. This there has an interesting engineering marvel working of one of the finest pin hole camera concept which they have achieved using key-hole effect.! Then we have visited some more destructed temples. And still time was not enough for us to visit every places in just two days!
