There are some places which excite us each time we think of them; However there are others wrapped in nature, simple yet unexplored which change our perception whilst we visit them. Phulbani, a simple town in Odisha, undisturbed and mesmerizing, houses nature's bounties and secrets within. I had been to visit my kin there, when i explored the detox effect of the beautiful place. Wrapped in mountains, rivers & waterfalls, its a 5 hour highway drive from Bhubaneswar. Amongst many, i visited the Narayani temple premises, located beside a small brook in the hilly area. An ideal weekend getaway, it can be clubbed with having a peek of the the waterfalls of Gochhapara and Daringbadi (known for mild snow and trekking in winters ).
