Before we get to the lush greenery and the swooping mountains, we are going to take you back to our journey. The adventurous route we took to reach by train, bus, then a three hour cruise along the UNESCO World Heritage Site Naeroyfjord (For more information: Click Here ) was a complete memorable experience. This route takes you through the magnificent views of the Norwegian fjord landscapes.
As we got down from the fjord cruise, we were amused to see this beautiful, small town into existence. We saw a handful of shops and restaurants in sight. Clearly this wasn't Norway's most dynamic destination but for sure it was Norway's most beautiful destination. We walked towards to the Fretheim Hotel, one of the village's two accommodations and settled in our (surprisingly) fancy room, which we really liked.
Surprisingly this little touristic place has a lot of activities and things to do in the surroundings.
