If you're looking for a place to escape the noise and crowds of the big city, Cape Palliser is the place for you.

I've been visiting New Zealand for more than two years now, and I've explored some amazing places out there. One of my favorites is Cape Palliser—a small town on the southern coast of North Island that's about 2 hours from Wellington. The drive along this road is super scenic because of its large green lands and loads of sheep wandering around. It's also one of the best coastal drives I've ever had.

After 2 hours of driving, I finally reached Cape Palliser. And it was beautiful and quiet as there were no people around—it was hard to capture photos on my phone. I also witnessed some seals on the way—they were sleeping!

Cape Palliser has this lighthouse that lets you enjoy the view of the whole place at sunset. But to get there, you have to climb a bunch of stairs (you'll be glad you did). And when I reached the top, it was mesmerizing—the beach stretched out before me, with sky so orange-red behind it all. The perfect view!
