Streets of New York - A photo journal

My last normal trip before Corona Virus hit us all was a week in New York in the end of November 19. I never thought we would be homebound for so long and would have to extra cautious as and when we get to go out as life settles to its new normal.

While it would be long before we get to step out and take an actual vacation, some old photos cheer me up to look for good times ahead as we stay indoor for a better tomorrow.

Coming back to New York - My first trip to US was a bit unexpected. Landing at NYC and looking outside the cab window on my way to hotel, I was wondering how this big city would make me feel? Will it feel touristic or will it make space for me in its system? Over the course of one week, I tried to understand the rhythm at which it functions, the pattern which it follows, and started syncing my steps to the same. In no time, it felt as if I had been living since a long time. It wasn’t a tourist thing for me at all. I guess I accepted the city naturally as something more than just a tourist destination.
