Arrival in Delhi
Arrive in Delhi and check into your hotel. Spend the day resting and exploring the nearby areas. In the evening, head to India Gate, a war memorial located in the heart of the city. The monument is dedicated to Indian soldiers who died in World War I and the Afghan Wars. You can enjoy a picnic or take a stroll around the monument and its surrounding gardens.
Visit to Red Fort
After breakfast, head to Red Fort, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the most iconic landmarks of Delhi. The fort was built by Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan in the 17th century and served as the residence of the Mughal emperors until 1857. The fort has beautiful architecture and intricate carvings. You can also attend the sound and light show in the evening, which narrates the history of the fort.
Visit to Qutub Minar
After breakfast, head to Qutub Minar, another UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the tallest minarets in the world. The minaret was built by Qutub-ud-din Aibak in the 12th century and has beautiful carvings and inscriptions. You can also visit the nearby Iron Pillar, which is believed to be more than 1,500 years old and has not rusted till date.
Visit to Humayun's Tomb
After breakfast, head to Humayun's Tomb, another UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the finest examples of Mughal architecture. The tomb was built by Humayun's wife, Empress Bega Begum, in the 16th century and has beautiful gardens and fountains. You can also visit the nearby Nizamuddin Dargah, which is the shrine of Sufi saint Hazrat Nizamuddin Auliya.
