#SwipeRightToTravel We have been married now for 13 years and our story was also more or less like DDLJ story though it was Singapore instead of Switzerland where we met for the first time roaming inside Sentosa island. He was Indian and I was Indian too and we both had gone to explore Sentosa while on an official trip in Singapore on a Sunday as solo travelers. As we met there for first time accidentally and as we both were Indians that too from Same city Delhi, so we got hooked on to each other pretty fast.As we both were in Singapore for next few months so we started dating each other & went on to see some amazing places in Singapore together over the next few weekends that included places like Universal studios, Sentosa Island, Jungle Night Safari, Little India,Suntech City, Clarke Quay, Orchid Garden, the Merlion, Singapore Flyer, Gardens by the Bay, Wild Wild Wet Waterpark, Science Center Singapore, Marina Bay Sands,Jurong Bird Park, Esplanade Park, Chinese & Japanese Gardens, Singapore Botanic gardens,China Town and Adventure cove Waterpark. As we spent more & more time with each other exploring these places waiting in queues together, we utilised the time by chit chatting with each other to know our likes-dislikes, eating habits, Hobbies & Interests of each other etc. Our interests, tastes and habits had lot in common and our friendship transformed into love on this travel journey which made us decide that we would together love to live this beautiful journey of life. We came back to India soon thereafter and We dated each other for next 5 years & then decided to tie the knot. There was a real twist in the tale as my parents were not in favor of Love marriage for me with a guy who was from different sub-caste. Then it took almost a year of fighting and convincing my father before he finally said "Jaa Sunita Jaa Je Le apni Zindagi" This one trip transformed my life completely and gave me a partner with whom I have been creating several moments to cherish for a lifetime. Really feel amazed whenever I think of the fact that how one travel journey taken together can really transform a relationship giving so much happiness to your life!
