Spritual trip to rishikesh and kunjapuri temple

Overnight journey from Delhi to rishikesh by volvo. Checked into hotel. Rest of the day at leisure.

Local sightseeing including ram jhula, swargashram, laxam jhula, goa beach, muni ki reti, ghat at permarth niketan and evening aarti at triveni ghat. Sit for atleat 10 mins near aarti place, it feel really spiritual sitting there. You can hear chants which makes one so light. Had food at chotiwala near ramjhula. Tried lassi @pappu corner near triveni ghat. Overnight stay at hotel.

Woke up early morning at 6. Woke up early cause we were trying to catch the first ray of sunlight from hills on our way to narendra nagar. But no luck as it was hard to reach there before sunrise. We were late. Narendra nagar is at a distance of 17 kms from rishikesh. From narendra nagar there is another 5kms drive to kunjapuri temple which was our destination for this day. We reach temple at around 9 am. Temple is sitauted on the top of a hill. This place is so divine and serene. We had blessing from maa kunjapuri. Himalayan peaks could be visible from the top on a clear sunny day. Had snacks and tea in temple premises. Back to rishikesh. This was the end of this beautiful trip. Back to Delhi in night.
