Ranthambhore National park is accessible from Sawai Madhopur railway station, on the Delhi-Mumbai main line. It is a weekend destination. 3 jeep safaris are at least required in any national park as sighting of tiger is a matter of pure luck. We were fortunate enough to sight 6 tigers in 3 safaris (2 +3 + 1).
