If you are someone who appreciates minimal aesthetics, you will absolutely love The Branch's calming decor.

The large glass windows, lots of breathing space and an almost life-size tree give it a very zen vibe. The plating of food too, is a treat to the eyes.

They have an interesting selection of salads to pick from, in case you're looking for healthy options. Though the prices are slightly on the higher side, the portion sizes are more than satisfactory at this new cafe in Delhi.

It's a great place to catch up with a friend or take a mid-shopping break while you're around South Ex.

The charming co-working space cum vegan cafe first opened in Shahpur Jat and has been a people's favourite ever since.

They've now moved to a much bigger and even prettier space in Gurgaon. I personally love the artsy, rustic vibe of the place.

With a revamped space and menu, Greenr is the perfect place to work out of, especially when you're tired of your usual desk and are looking for some inspiration. The delicious, healthy food is an added bonus!

Another great addition to North Campus's roster of cute, affordable cafes is the super hippie By The Bay.

The chill vibe and decor of the place will instantly transport you to a beach shack in Goa. It is probably the only place in the area serving seafood.

The menu is somewhat limited but complete with star attractions like Chicken malai tikka and rum-flamed thin crust pizzas. Service can be a bit slow at this new cafe in Delhi but the whole point of a beach-theme dining is to just relax and not rush anything, isn't it?

Cost: ₹900 for two

Cuisine: Continental, Coastal, Chinese, Indian

Standout dishes: Chicken malai tikka, pina Colada, Goan fish curry, makhani pasta, sizzling brownie

Timings and location: 11am to 12am; 2522, 1st Floor, Hudson Lane, Delhi University-GTB Nagar, New Delhi

Ansal Plaza's recent revival can be credited to the new fleet of high-end restaurants that are opening here and one of the most noticeable of them all is Amuse House.

The restaurant does a fun mix of European and Mediterranean dishes with both exciting, experimental dishes like barley risotto with pulled lamb as well as the classics like baklava and bourak.

Though the interiors are gorgeous, it's the quaint outdoor seating that really won me over. Go here for a relaxed Sunday brunch or your next special date!

Cost: ₹1800 for two

Cuisine: Mediterranean, European

Standout dishes: Chicken bourak, herb crusted grilled chicken breast, jumbo prawns, chickpea and mint falafal, Amusetini cocktail

Timings and location: 12pm to 1am; C-108, 1st Floor, Ansal Plaza, Khel Gaon Marg, New Delhi

This one is a vintage-lover's paradise! Think of Sly Granny as a scandalous grandma's den who has a thing for all things quirky and a weirdly cute obsession with Arnold Schwarzenegger.

The name also fits because you'll end up over-eating here just like you do at your gran's—you'll start slow and careful with a nibbler but wouldn't be able to resist ordering a second main.

The upper section (which also doubles as a co-working space) has a whimsical-looking bar, perfect to enjoy a good ol' G&T or any poison of your from their extensive bar menu.

Since it's a small place, I'd recommend you book a table in advance. This is undoubtedly one of the nicest new cafes in Delhi that you must drop by at.

Cost: ₹2000 for two

Cuisine: European, Amercian

Standout dishes: Mezze platter, croque melt, grilled peaches and brie, Barcelona shrimp, Posh G&T and Chase & Status (cocktails)

Timings and location: 12.30pm to 12.30am; 4, Khan Market, New Delhi

This pretty place is hiding in plain sight in the bustling Adchini market and is a perfect, quiet alternative to the loud cafes in the neighbouring HKV.

The theme is fresh and summery with gorgeous turquoise accents, you can't help but click a picture or two. The food menu is quite limited and also a bit of a hit-and-miss in my opinion as some of the dishes might not be everyone's cup of tea.

But it's the perfect place if you're looking to surprise your taste buds. This new cafe in Delhi also has a great selection of wines and an in-house pastry chef who whips up some amazing desserts.

Cost: ₹1600 for two

Cuisine: Coastal, French

Standout dishes: Creamy mushroom crepe, kozhi kary vindail, cream cheese with olives and figs, athu kary dalcha, lemon pie

Timings and location: 12pm to 1am; 84, Aurobindo Marg, opposite to hero showroom, Adchini, New Delhi
