Golden Temple is a perfect mixture of sublime peace, utter religious tolerance, outstanding natural beauty and enormous faith and belief in God. The Golden Temple Amritsar India (Sri Harmandir Sahib Amritsar) has a unique Sikh architecture. The top structure of the temple is covered with pure gold leaf, hence, the popular name, Golden Temple. Inside the temple lies the holy book of the Sikhs - the Granth Sahib is present. After going through a tumultuous period of demolitions,. From 1767 onwards, the Sikhs became strong enough militarily to repulse invaders. It was rebuilt by Maharaja Ranjit Singh in 1830 purely with marble and gold.

Keep vigil over and take care of your belongings.
