Ecophoria is an annual academic fest conducted by the Economics Department of Janki Devi Memorial College, University of Delhi, which holds a great reputation in the University. It is an amalgamation of academic and non academic events.
When & what to expect
This year, Ecophoria is on the 5th of October and they have 9 events: Econoforentia (The Paper Presentation Competition), Perspectives (The Panel Discussion), QFiesta (The Economics Quiz), Harry Potter & The Game of Monopoly (Monopoly), Life on Minimum Wage, TradeWar (The Trading and Auctioning game), Aflatoon Cinemaster (The Ad Mad Show), Queen's Trinket in Fantasyland (The Treasure Hunt) and The Devil's Runway (Fashion Show). The festival provides a platform for the brilliant minds to come together and interact purposefully with the objective of strengthening economic thought and expanding their horizons.
What's more?! They have cash prizes worth 50,000+ along with many other attractions like food, games, jewellery stalls, accessories stalls along with lots of fun and frolic!
