How to reach?
Delhi To Dalhousie(566km:12 Hours)
Then 17 km by car to the point where trek starts.I Did this Trek in monsoons,it was a 5 hours trek and it was raining from two days. The trek is only around 5km but as i lost my track i had to de route my path and completed this trek in 17km.
Dainkund is the highest peak in Dalhousie and gets maximum snowfall during the winter season. There is a motorable road that leads to this hill, but one can also choose to trek this distance as the views are really astonishing here.
An excellent spot at the altitude of 2755 meters gives a 360-degree view of the area. Cool find pass through the trees make a beautiful sound and this is the reason this place is also called the singing hill. The main attraction the Pholani Devi Temple situated here. being the highest peak in the area its very popular for trekking and hiking. Overall a must visit place. The trek, the walk, the panoramic views are all worth it. It is a must visit place in an otherwise really small and boring town
As I Mostly recorded the trek here is the link,Enjoy :)
