This is around 2 km from qutub minar complex and you can hire a auto from there. This is a lane in saidullajab village in saket. Here you can find so many quirky cafes, with beautiful interiors and quite yummy food. Actually, i came to know about this champa galithrough Instagram. It is so famous there i just wanted to checkout myself that the place is worth the hype or not. And now i can totally say that it deserve all the hype. Yay!!. When in champa gali we headed to the Social and 3-4 cafes in starting lane. But they are so full and couldn't accommodate us so we needed to explore more. Than we found most famous of all - jugmug thela. Although it was also full but luckily we got seat. And than our food spree started. We ordered Bombay sandwich, pizza and kokam kala khatta soda. And any of the above didn't disappointed us. Even we took that kokam kala khatta twice 🙈 Ambience was good, staff was good, food was awesome- overall a good experience. And than you can find lovely street art in lanes nearby.
Day 2 : Day 2 began with finding the hidden gems in the capital, not just visiting the places like monuments and pubs but I was finding the peaceful Delhi indeed, and this place did not fail to surprise me. In the always moving and busy city a lane 'Champa Gali' hidden in a village of Saket, which just doesn't feel like Delhi. As hippie as it could be but also peaceful at the same time! There were two cafes to serve quick bites and tea and coffee along with a reading room (a room full of pre- owned books) and some handicraft stores to score on some really cool stuff! The name of this lane may sound shady but it is one of the most beautiful places to visit in the capital!
Tucked away in Lane no. 3 of the quiet little village of Said-ul-Ajaib, Champa Galiis a short walk away from the Saket Metro Station in New Delhi. This charming hideaway is a potpourri of all things good – art, culture, chai, coffee and impromptu music gigs. The pebbled street, which houses a cafe with an on-site roastery, a design studio, creative workshops, and a street-style pop up tea-stall, is located inside a narrow lane that is fringed by tiny ration shops, and village dwellings.
I was browsing online reading at blogs finding some nice cafes, where I found about Champa gali, a small lane U shaped away from the traffic, crowd and clients ???? This hidden lane has everything starting from a coffee shop, to handmade art & craft stuff, reading room and design studio. We took a metro at 5 in evening right after our office, from phase 3 metro to saket, Delhi. We took an auto from metro station to Champa gali.
