The Picturesque Manakamna Temple, Nepal

On the way to Pokhra from Kathmandu, there lies a pictursque Hindu temple of Manakamna Devi. And the entire setting of this temple is breath-taking! The Temple is sitauted on top of the hill, so the only way to reach up there is by hopping onto one of the cable cars!

This is the ticket office for the cable car. There were four of us, so we got one gondola (cabins) to ourselves.

The view from the cable car was simply superb. That's my mum enjoying every bit of the view!

On our way from cable car station to the temple, which is a 100 meters walk, we saw quite a number of orange trees. You will get alot of shops selling freshly plucked oranges and they are super sweet in taste!Do give them a try!

The Manakamna Temple. If you want to offer your prayers inside the temple, then be ready to stand in the que for atleast 30-45 minutes on an average. Make sure you visit the temple by 10 am so as to avoid the rush both in cable car as well as the temple.
