From unique architecture to Himalayan serenity, all experienced in the solo trip to Dhulikhel, Nepal

Dhulikhel is a small city 30km away from Kathmandu. People looking for a peaceful weekend gateway can always give this place a visit. Regular bus services are there between Dhulikhel and Kathmandu.
I visited Dhulikhel in winter. I went for an early morning walk to visit the Dhulikhel Selfie Stone, Golden Buddha and the Kali Mandir. The nature walk is a pleasant experience through the jungle. As I reached to the top view point early in the morning, the landscape was still covered with fog. The view point is very picturesque.

Next day I decided to explore the unique Nepalese architectural setting of the town. Roaming around the not so crowded streets of old town area, shutterbugs can capture the essence of Nepalese art styles.

There is also a famous souvenir store of Nawaranga. People fond of artwork can always give this store a visit.
