I have arrived the Bandaranaike International Airport and went through immigration and security within a minutes i have went out of airport, first thing is to change the currency but at that time i realised they wont take Indian Rupees in exchange centers but i have 3000ringgits in hand hardly i exchanged and proceeded to taxi and hopped and went to my hostel note: i only have 18hours layover in Srilanka but i need to see as much place as possible
My first Destination is Negombo,its a beach sided area , i had booked my hostel in there , i arrived in hostel and the owner was really welcoming person and i payed the cash and moved to my room and its was a dormitory so i need to be with other persons i booked dormitory because in there only you can meet other nationalities and friendzone them easily, after a freshup i went to the local fish market , beaches, some other historical places, and the harbour side Negombo is only 10kms from the airport
This is the hostels that I have stayed for just a day but it was very wonderful and war welcome owner lady Tini and the wonderful days in my daires they only charged me about ₹350 for a day and she gave me Celeon Tea , Sri Lanka is famous for its tea and it was very good, the rooms a super neat and dormitory are cleaned i have selected the dormitory its because i need to get in touch with people so i taked it
That was my first time in colombo ever after i didnt expected to be there , the culture and tradition everything is depending on sea side and widely about seafood, hahah Seafood you didn't know there culture about seafood for the real authentic sea food you definitely need to go to the next place
Well everyone must know who is the man Behind this great restaurant chain yeah, its Kumar Sangakkara the well known Cricketer who plays for srilanka , at the first impression im obsessed with the cultural aspects inside the restaurant the prices are lit bit high , i orderd there special items like Crab garlicshovers, King Prawns with lentils and to wash down some fresh pineapple crushers.
Offical this is my last day on Sri Lanka and with all my good memories i had went to airport the flight was on Morning 6am so i leaved there at 4am with my hostel aunts husband who owns a Tuk Tuk (Rikshaw) he gave me free fride to airport with packages of fresh Celeon tea and wonderful drawing by himself
What you hear the name Sri Lanka, in my mind its all about the vast beaches, sunny days, tropical forest, wildlife etc, my first visit to Sri Lanka was just an accidentally gone i had booked my tickets to Kuala Lumpur (Malaysia) then i realised the flight was through Colombo (Srilanka) then i decided to enter the srilanka through the internet feeds i found that if you have layover more than 4hours you can enter Srilanka free without any visa charges but you need hotel bookings and an appropriate Pre-arrival registration, then i have done those things and boarded the flight to Colombo from Kochi,
