So during lockdown, we like everyone were at home for a really long time and wanted to a short getaway just to change the set up and have a break but due to travel restrictions we were not able to go out of Delhi so when we were looking for ideal staycation place around Delhi.
And then we came to know that Neemrana fort Palace was opening up hence we decided to go there.
Neemrana fort Palace is 120 km away from Delhi and it takes around 2.5 hours to reach there. We highly recommend visiting there in monsoon as that's when you can enjoy its beauty to fullest. The greenery around fort will leave you spell bound in overcast.
We booked heritage splendour room. It is among their suites having spectacular view of mountain and fort.
It's great place for a day long vacation. The best part is that it was not very crowded as they were only allowing residents and not visitors. They usually have fixed buffet. But now they are also allowing Alacarte and it is much cheaper option so we recommend to not to book their buffet and rather opt for ala carte.
Also they offer complimentary snacks and coffee at evening.
Things to do around:
1. You can opt for zip.line if you are into adventure
2. You can try the ride in their vintage car. It costs 1200 rupees and a unique experience
3. You try checking out Neemrana baori which is the water stepwell.
I also highly recommend having dinner in their chess garden as it offers amazing view of fort lit up like a christmas tree. It is great for a 1 day staycation. The peaceful environment will leave you refreshed.
