Nashik, a city in Maharashtra known for its Pilgrimage attractions. It is believed that most significant episodes of Indian epic Ramayana have taken place in this holy city. Also, Trimbakeshwar one of the twelve Jyothirlingams is in just 35 kms away from the city. Recently I visited this city and went to the most prominent places of the city

5. Lakshman Tapovan – Place Lakshman does a penance to kill Ravana’s son Indrajith
6. Sita Gufa - Cave in which Sita was hiding
7. Ram Sita Kutil – Place where Lord Ram and Sita lived
8. Lakshman Rekha – Place in which Sita crossed the Lakshman Rekha border
Above places we visited in an autorickshaw for Rs.400. It is called Nashik darshan, which most of the autorickshaws will take us.
9. Trimbakeshwar Temple – 35 kms from Nashik
10. Anjaneri Anchaneya Temple – 30 kms from Nashik. Located at the Nashik-> Trimbakeshwar route
11. Coin Museum – A place where collection of currencies, coins and weapons used in ancient days of India were preserved 30 kms from Nashik. Located at the Nashik-> Trimbakeshwar route
For above places we hired a cab that costed Rs.2500 and it took 4 hours to cover all these places and reach Nashik. We hired from the Hotel we stayed.

We stayed at Hotel Triton for 2 nights. It costed almost Rs.5300 for a family of three. This Hotel is close to most of the prominent places like Panchavati.
