Before sharing anything, i should start with one of my favourite dialogue from my favourite movie ' yeh jawani hai deewani ' by Bunny " samay rukta nahi beet jaata hai aur hum kharch ho jate hai". It has deep message itself!! Those who understand it quietly may be more fanatic!!
I visited to this beautiful place during my journey to Nainital. It took almost an hour to come here.
Kainchi dham is a Hanuman temple and ashram which was established by a great saint Neem Karoli Baba in 1960s. It is a holy temple surrounded by hills, trees and river. It got recognition of name of our great saint Neem Karoli Baba. It is incredibly beautiful.It is located on Nainital- Almora route. It is almost 17km away from Nainital. If you are coming by train then the nearest railway station is Kathgodam which is 37kms away from here and the nearest airport is Pantnagar which is 71kms away from here. But most of the people like to come here by their own personal vehicle so that they may have a look on the pleasant nature while driving.
It is placed in between two hills they cut and cross to form the shape of scissors because of this it is known as ' Kainchi Dham '. It has many histories, in 1974 Steve Jobs had visited and meditated here for somedays moreover Mark Zuckerberg had also visited here. In every year a fair is organised by the ashram in June.
But unfortunately the great saint had passed away on 11th September 1973 at the age of 73.
If i talk about the cleanness over here, you can easily be fascinated after looking at the quality of the marbles that was used to make it is really exquisite , many dustbins are settled at every corner and the amazing fact is this while walking on the floor you can't feel heat of the sun rays that fall on them during hot summer days, this is the best quality of the marble and they have shining surfaces too!!! All the best services are given to visitors. The river Kosi flows alongwith temple.
