One Day Trek to Korlai Fort and Nagaon Beach (Near Alibaug)

What more could you want from a Sunday that's filled with beautiful ferry rides with the city's view, beaches, water sports, some delicious food and a trek to Korlai Fort and a watch tower?

About Korlai Fort:
Before the destruction, Korlai had been described by travelers as a "magnificent fortress as strong as any other in the world". The main entrance was guarded by a bronze lion and the highest tower by a bronze eagle. It housed 7,000 horses and as much men. Korlai fort was also strategically very important as it guarded the mouth of the bay and offered a clear crystal view of the Arabian!

Meeting Point:
06:00am: Gateway of India
06:30am: Get our tickets and board the ferry towards Mandwa, Alibag!
Witness the ever gorgeous Arabian Waves and Sea Gulls as they keep your company through the 45 minute ferry.
08:00am: Reach Mandwa. Board bus towards Alibag.
09:15am: The exploring begins here! But before that, food. Breakfast Halt.
10:00am: Board our vehicle and enroute Nagaon beach.
10:30am: Reach Nagaon. Time for some sand, sun and water sports!
We'll spend our time around the beach for a while and fill our hungry stomachs with lunch at Nagaon. (There's some delicious fish and chicken making here.)
01:30pm: Enroute Korlai Fort
02:30pm: Begin the almost non-existant trek (Odd 50 steps to reach the top) and enjoy some beautiful sights. We'll also visit the lighthouse alongside.
04:30pm: Bid goodbye to the sea, the views and the fort. Enroute Mandwa to board the return ferry.
06:00pm: Ferry towards Mumbai (Witness the city lights and the magic as it unfolds as you head towards our city of dreams!)
08:00pm: Return back to the city (Tentatively)
