My  wife and I decided to plan our first family picnic of this year. So upon  inquiry 2-3weeks prior of our journey date we booked a homestay at Nagaon, Alibaug through Booking.com and luckily it also got confirmed the same day after making the payment. But still I was a bit dicy to go there. Why I don't know. But was  happy that I had a confirmed booking as it was a weekend. As travelling solo I do booking on the spot but this time I didn't want to take any chances. And just to add spice to our picnic I asked my wife whether can travel by bike from few places she was silent for some time but later agreed for it. So guys now my picnic was officially converted to a mini bike ride. As according to me  travelling is nothing but sitting on the bike vrommin to reach your destination😉. Since we had to travel a long journey we  planned to leave  by 7-7:30 am in the morning as the climate being cool and  under control  traffic. But I forgot that the actual ride wont start until my 3yr old son would wake up and get ready. But He got up early and got ready just in tym.. Afterall he is a son of a Rider. Destination was Bhaucha Dhakka. The only port where the fisherman boat's come after fishing. Only on that port anybody can board there bike on the ferry boats and reach Revas near Alibaug which will help in saving time...
the duration of the journey is approximately 1.5 to 2hrs and from there we had to travel more 1hr to reach Nagaon.  As soon as we reached at the Port being a weekend there was lot of Rush for boarding on the ferry boats. But never mind as far as my son enjoyed his first visit on the fisherman port. He was roaming here and there with my wife. After almost 1.5hrs of wait 2 ferry boats came. We reserved our seat in the ferry and boarded my bike on the ferry   and at last our journey started. Hushhhh. Tabhi Jara jaan me jaan ayi. Seriously guys. Travelling with family to a new place sounds adventure and also a bit tension. But my wife and my son were enjoying the journey. After sometime my son getting sea sickness he started vomiting though we knew it but we were not able to stop it. Even after reaching my son was still not feeling well and we had to check-in at Nagaon. So we decided to search for a homestay nearby  Revas although I had already made the payment to Nagaon Wala homestay. Their phones were not reachable for cancellation either. Oops I just missed to tell you something. After I made the payment and got the payment confirmation I started searching for the contact number of the hotel but it was not available on the website of booking.com and even the customer service of booking.com were not contactable. So anyway at the back of my mind my wife and I were already prepared to face the last moment cancellation of the accommodation. So I searched the contact number of the person from Google and called him he said there is no booking available. Booking.com wallonse baat Karo. Maine unko pehle hi bol Diya hai. But the customer service were not contactable only I used to get automatic replies that we will revert in 24hrs. So still we took the chance and thought that We will go there and search for the accommodation on the spot. If we get it then it's good or else we will book something on the spot. So now the new adventure of searching the accommodation near to the Revas port started . I went to ask the local shopkeepers about a budget homestay for family. There I met a wonderful person who saw my son situation and gave me details of a nice place called Savli Huts and Farm.  He said Just go there and enquire. By the time I was about leave for the hotel I got a call from booking.com that Sorry Sir. Unfortunately your Booking is not available now. We will refund you back ur amount paid sorry for the inconvenience caused. But actual inconvenience was caused to my son because of the travel from the boat. So I was feeling sorry for him. I didn't argued anything. I just said one sentence firmly and loudly to them "Refund me Back My Money ASAP" and disconnected the phone. Lol. And left to search the hotel which that man had told me. after reaching there that homestay was like i went in search of small hut and discovered a big kingdom is waiting for us. Seriously I loved the place imediately I saw it. Then I Saw an old lady was staring at me from the main house. I came to know that she is the owner so I went calling for her. First greeted her. Namaskar Aaji. Told her my full name as if she is going to check it in my aadhar card😉🤣🤣. She smiled at me and asked me bola. I asked her if there is any room available for us. As we were traveling to Nagaon but my son is not feeling well so we need to stay at the place near to the Revas port and we will check out tomorrow afternoon. she went inside and asked someone and came out smiling yes it's available For 1200/- rupees NON AC with Food Rs 2000/- as lunch time has already passed we can provide u with evening breakfast, dinner and next morning breakfast. I agreed and breathed a sigh of relief and asked my wife to check the room. The location was very nice filled with trees. My son slept as Soon as we lied on the bed. As the climate was Cool. This was the sign that he also loved the place. We were also tired so took a nap. And in the evening my son woke up fully charged and energetic. we decided to go to the Kihim Beach which was nearby to our location. We reached there at 5:30pm which was hardly 4 kms from our stay. Though my son was not playing on the beach. Somewhere he was having a fear in his mind that again he might do vomiting. So naturally when ur kid is sounding low You also don't feel like enjoying anything. Same thing my wife and I were experiencing throughout we had to lift him and walk on the beach. My wife was about to cancel the plan but luckily we got the booking of the hotel now she was also fine and now for sometime at least we reached the beach it was a small sign of improvement in my son's health. We already had asked the owner to prepare fish as that's the speciality of Alibaug but my son was not eating anything of the fear. So he slept again as soon as we reached back to the hotel and I and my wife had yummy fish curry and fish Fry in Agri Style. I still remember the taste. Only one word I spoke when I ate the first bite. It was WOW!! My wife also loved the food. And we slept thinking about Rudra my son. How will he be tomorrow. But we were suprized to see that he got early in the morning at 7 o'clock and said that he was feeling very hungry so I quickly rushed to the owner and asked him if we can get the breakfast now he said yes it's about to get ready. Then my son said he wants to have toast with tea. So I took out my bike and went to the same shop whom I had asked about the nearby hotel. After reaching the shop he asked me how is my sons health. I said he is fine he wants to eat toast do u have toast in ur shop. H started searching it quickly and gave the packet to me and also a small packet of Marie Biscuits I thought is free with the toast but he said give it to your son from my side. I thanked him a lot by seeing at the helping nature and he said that he would love to meet my son. I said sure why not. And went back to hotel and said this to my wife she was also amazed to hear and wondered that does such type of people so exists in this world. Just by a single meeting and that you in a hurry he offered me a free  biscuits for my son. Then my son had his breakfast and also we had a delicious poha prepared and left to meet the shopkeeper. As soon as the shopkeeper saw my son he gave him a dairy milk Chocolate and for the first time my son said thank you to a unknown person. The shop keeper also asked to visit varsoli beach which is also very clean and nearby and it also has lot if water sports, horse riding and toy car activities. We went there and there my son enjoyed a lot though he loves to play and jump on the waves. We both also became kids of his age and started playing with him. I was about to cry of happiness after watching my kid play on the Sea Shore.  he was enjoying a lot at that time. We also sat on the horse carriage and also sat on the Bullock cart while leaving from the shop so now he was enjoying a lot. He also had bhakri which is made of Rice.  my wife and I were actually feeling very happy at that time. And After reaching back to the hotel he was enjoying and playing with the kids of other tourists who had come to the same hotel. They also knew that one day before my son was unwell. All of them were behaving as if we were one family and even   the hotel owner was kind enough to entertain my son . But now everything was going as planned. So I asked my wife if we again need to go by the ferry boat or we should go by bike from the hotel till our home. She said ok we will go by bike. We didn't want it to repeat the same incidence again. And we left from there by bike. Enjoying and safely reached home before it started getting dark. But it was a good experience. Now I got not one but two pillion rider's to join me for any kind of Ride and out of the 2 one will soon become a good Rider like me is my Son. Love you both. So now I can plan for a ride again. Feeling happy now.
