Day 1

Nagaland is one of the unexplored state in Northeast India. It's a gift of nature where lots of diversity in culture and language in between Nagaland only. I got an opportunity to visit Kohima ,the capital of Nagaland. My hometown is Sivasagar and I boarded a train to Dimapur which is the economic hub of Nagaland. It is because it is the only town in entire Nagaland with rail and air connection. The Dimapur Railway is well connected by rail and air from many places of India. After reaching Dimapur I had my lunch in a restaurant nearby the station. Then I took a taxi to Kohima at around 2.30 p.m. The fare is 300 rupees in usual days but as it is Sunday and taxis are less, so they charged me 500 rupees. I reached Kohima at around 5.30 p.m. There are lots of hotels in Kohima to stay. After getting down from the taxi in high school junction, I took another taxi to Nagaland university campus and it cost me 200 rupees. As my staying is in University guest house, I need to go a bit outskirts of Kohima. I reached there by 6.30 p.m.
