For 10 whole days in the beginning of December, the state of Nagaland comes alive in the Kisama Heritage Village. Thousands of tourists, media personnel and dignitaries from all over the World travel specially to Nagaland to witness this spectacular fest showcasing the essence of Nagaland’s heritage and culture...the 16 tribes of the State perform in this arena and through their performances take the audiences through a cultural journey into the land’s glorious heritage. Although there is so much more to Nagaland than this particular arena and festival which we have witnessed this time by travelling deeper into the State, there is no better time than this fest to witness all of that diversity coming together at a single place... .

We were lucky to have been hosted by Chalohoppo during this festival where we got to experience much more than a tourist’s opinion of the State..
