The trip strated at Surathkal, Karnataka.
We took a train from Manglore (20 kms from Surathkal) to Mysore, it was an overnight journey.
We reached Mysore early morning and the first thing we did was clicked photo with
I ♥️ Mysore after that we rented VOGO and had breakfast at the local shops in Mysore.
After that we rented a car and headed to Ooty.
They journey was bit risky as the roads are filled with Hairpin turns as we passed through the Nilgiri Hills but the view while going to Ooty was amazing. One must be a skilled driver to drive on such roads.
After driving for about 6-7 hours we reached Ooty and the place has such an amazing view at night.
1st morning in Ooty. The view of the city in the morning was mesmerising as the whole city was covered in fog.
The first point which we covered was Ooty Lake. The lake is surrounded by Eucalyptus trees. The lake in the front was enough to bring calmness.
The next was Pine forest which is famous for the shooting of the movie Raaz (the first one).
The song was shot in the Pine forest.
Ooty is also famous for its tea-gardens. The gardens are on the mountain and arranged in steps. While standing in the gardens it seems like you are in the clouds .
Returning back to Mysore and after bus to Manglore.
We missed the toy train journey 😩 because the trip wasn't very well planned. One needs to book tickets of the toy train before going to Ooty as they aren't easily available. If you planning for Ooty you must book tickets for the toy train
We enjoyed the journey a lot as the car which we rented had sun roof.
