We a group of 5 friends has been planning for a winter trek for a very long, but due to very heavy snowfall, Kedarkanth trek was closed,so we planned for Nag Tibba trek.
Best part of this trek is it could be done in a weekend if coming from Delhi.Our journey started from Delhi, by Nanda Devi SF Express at around 23:30 from New Delhi Railway Station.
Day 1
We reached Dehradun by 5:30 AMThen hired shared cab to Pantwari Village from Dehradun.
Nag Tibba treking starts from Pantwari , it is at a distance of 90 KM from Dehradun Railway Station,the road to Pantwari crosses throgh Mussorie, Kempty Falls.Road passes through awesome natural trail.We were lucky to witness good snowfall, in Mussorie at Zero Point
after walikng for around 1.5KM from entry gate through snow we reached Nag Tibba Base camp.The view all around the Base Camp was mind blowing, it was covered in carpet of fresh snow.Our guide set the camp for night.
Day 2
It was very cold in the morning , our camp was fully covered in snow, from outside, as it snowed in the morning.
We started our journey to the Nag Tibba Temple, which is around 2 KM from base camp.We returned to base camp by 9:00 AM.After breakfast, we started our journey back to Pantwari, the path was again covered in snow. We completed our trek by 1:30 PM. Had Lunch at Pantwari Village, and again the shared cab to Mussorie. We stopped for night in Mussorie, visited few places.
Day 3
Mussorie to Dehradun
We booked tickets to Dehradun, by Uttarakhand Transport Corp. from Mussorie, Picture Palace Bus Stand it costs Rs. 60 per head. It took around 1.5Hrs to reach Dehradun. As our train was at 23:30 Hrs, so we had the full day to explore Dehradun. We took local bus to reach, Forest Research Institute (FRI), it is a must visit if you are in Dehradun for a day. Place has a very good architecture and covered with tree.
Then we went for Paltan Bazar, for some shopping and spent our rest of time in the Bazar. After a great treking and visiting local places, we started journey by Nanda Devi Express back to Delhi.

Shared Cab from Dehradun to Pantwari Rs.300

Reached Pantwari by 11:30 AM.We had before hand booked our trekking guide from Nagtibba Treking & Tent Center,After lunch we started walking up the trails.
There are few water points in the way, so please fill your bottles, we walked for around 5KM,On the way we reached The Goat Village, it is very scenic and has all facilities for staying.
then we reached Nag Tibba Entry gate, from here our path was covered with fresh snows.
After FRI we started our journey to Robers Cave(Gachu Pani), it is a cave with water from a fall flowing through the base, we need to rent a slipper,from near by shops and enjoy the walk arond the cave.
