The trip was started in early morning at 7.10 from thane to mangaon from 01113 mao festival special train ( there are many others source to travel from Mumbai )
We reached mangaon at 10.30 in the morning then we walked to the bus stand near railway station. Then we catch a local bus till ( VILE ) village, the bus fair was 45 per . Cause there's no direct transport till the base of devkund, after that we went for auto till the base of devkund wich coast around 20 per person
After reaching at the base we started our trek at 12.25 in the noon , if ur solo or traveling for first time at this place please hire a guide which coast u 150-200 per person , cause u can get lost inside ! The paths are changing because of falling trees, stones etc .
There are 6 stalls in between the way for refreshing an all , please carry 2 bottle atleast cause it's a long trek . So we reached at the waterfall somewhere around 2.30 .
we enjoyed at the waterfall till the evening , u can't wait before 6 at the place so u have to leave before it gets Dark
We headed back from the waterfall , to find a place for camping 🏕️
While camping u should prefer to the local cause it's there property , so without permission u can't camp there . Get a local guy ask him if we can camp here or anywhere else.
They ask for the charge for staying at there land , which will cost u 100 per person for the night and if u want food it will coast u around 200-400 . Best tip from me is to get ur own food, u can cook ur own food ther if u have proper camping equipments. Also if u doesn't have a tent they will give u for 200 per night . There are toilets at every distance ! Also please carry a torch . U can drink the waterfall water after boiling it .
The next morning we wake up at 8am, had a breakfast, then wrapped our tents and headed back to the waterfall
We spent a much time on the next day till 2pm in the noon and then head back to the base catch a outo till the village , PLEASE head back before 3pm in the noon cause there's no other bus from the village till the main stand mangaon. After reaching the stand we booked or bus from the redbus app for Mumbai at 6.05 pm and reached home at 11 at night, that's it
