If you would like to explore the nearby areas, then the most famous attraction here is the Global Vippasanna Pagoda which holds the relics of Sri Gautam Buddha and holds one of the most beautiful hollow stone idols of Buddha in the world. You can also visit the Samudreshwar Temple of Lord Shiva or the old Portuguese Church which has a similar architecture to the one in Goa.

Best time to visit
Although you can visit this beach all around the year , due to a slight drop in the temperatures , November-March is the best time to visit it.
How to reach
By Train: The nearest railway station is at Malad and Borivali on the western line. From here local transport is available to reach the beach.
By Ferry: One of the most popular options to visit this beach is to take the ferry which charges just Rs. 10 to take you across the island from Marve beach in 15 mins. From there you can take an auto to reach Manori. You can also take your two-wheeler across in the ferry.
By Road: If you are driving down to the beach, then you need to park your cars at the Pay and Park at Marve beach and take the ferry from there followed by an auto.
