Getting up early in the morning and got ready with my bags and stuffs for a trip to Goa in the off-season that is in the months of July. At first thought that trip in this season would be a bad idea but later thought that it will be a view of greener Goa. So took a cab from my home in South Calcutta to Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose International Airport (CCU) . I was on time so on reaching the airport I collected my boarding pass and dropped my baggage and did my security check. Then went straight inside to the lounge for some coffee. The flight that I took was from Kolkata to Mumbai then from Mumbai to Goa. I had a layover for about 5 hours. As I had a sudden plan for this trip some of my friends in Mumbai decided to join me from the Mumbai airport. As I had a long layover they got the time to pack their bags and join me on the trip.
So finally boarded the plane and it took off at right time but it landed 45 min prior to the arrival time in Mumbai airport. I was happy but at the same time I was feeling sad as I had to wait for 5 hours. But soon one by one my friends arrived. And we finally reunited. Then we all security checked and went for some snacks in the food court. Had a delicious burger from the Burger King then went to board the final flight to Goa. The flight was late due to bad weather. But finally it arrived and we all boarded the flight. I was awestruck it was scheduled to reach Goa in 50 minutes but it exactly took 35 minutes to reach Goa airport. Finally we all deboarded the flight and collected our luggage and we left the airport for a nearby hotel which we had already prebooked. We didn't take any cabs as it was already 11:45 pm by that time and was heavily priced. The hotel was just one km away so we walked by the side of the road and finally reached the hotel in no time as we all friends were discussing the childhood funny memories walking through the roads. So finally we all checked in to the hotel partied a bit and crashed in the soft beds. This way I ended my day one travelling from Calcutta to Goa and reuniting with my friends after a long time . And the final trip begins from the next day. Stay tuned .
