It's a new year 2020 and we decided to start the year with something adventures. So we decided to trek kalavantin durg. It's our first group trek which we organized. Earlier we just trek with our friends but now we officially created @indian_rovers group which organises treks and trips. So we started with first order and first trek of this year.
The total budget of trip is very negligible that is 550 rupees from thane. From thane we took train to panvel station then from panvel station we booked a cab to the base village. From base village our real trek started. To reach the base of the common point of prabalgad and kalavantin took 1 hr 30 mins because of new trekkers. If you are frequent trekker it will took only 45-50 mins . There we took some photos and breakfast. There are small hotels which has very tasty food. After that we started to climb prabalgad. Prabalgad is not that much hard but the path to trek is not that much good so it exhausted you. To reach prabalgad it took 2 hrs again it's only because of new trekkers. But for frequent trekker it will take 1 hr or less than that. The view from prabalgad is very beautiful. If you are near Mumbai or thane must visit prabalgad.
