It started with the train travel From Jaipur to Mumbai. As u very well know the joy of travelling by train in India,the time went smooth between here n Mumbai.We got some really good passengers on our way n had little fun talking to them. they were sweet.So on the next early morning we reached Mumbai and deported on Borivali Railway station. The real struggle started from here as this was my first time in Mumbai. Here culture is different from our North India,the people are different & climate is also different. we came out of station and talked to some people and asked some address and i must say people in Mumbai are really very helpful. We then booked our cab n went to our hotel. That was some like 2-3* hotel named Hotel sai leela Residency near andheri west. We took some rest n now it was evening, we came out of our room n start roaming here and there to see some part of Mumbai.It was beautiful but what i didn't like beautiful was that they had some boundary like wall there to separate poor and rich.i was literally shocked to see that, i mean who does that. Afterall they are also humans. One thing that i realised in Mumbai was, u cannot break bread without earring. There every member of your family "must" have to earn to eat in the evening. And yeah i first time ate the famous Vada Paav of Mumbai and it was delicious. We then came back to our hotel as it was night .
Our second day starts here and we were sleeping like baby till 10 am. My friend woke me up and asked me to freshen up as we had to leave for another hotel. I woke up ,took bath ,had breakfast n in the next moment we were in cab to our next destination. We were very happy today as we got to stay in 5*Hotel that too first time in our life. The hotel was ITC Grand Central Mumbai. When our cab reached there , we were like bro:- are we on correct address or what ?
We couldn't believe it was 5* hotel n we are staying here. In the next moment our luggage was in scanner and the Guard was greeting us. They sanitized our luggage and our hands. I must say the Hotel was pretty good. We checked in n now its our room , what a big and beautiful room it was🤩. We left our luggage and booked our cab for Marine drive. We only saw marine drive in movies only n now we are getting to see from our eyes. I was very happy. The location and drive is amazing. All those things that we saw only in movies ,we were watching those from our eyes. U can imagine our excitement. From there we headed to the famous Taj hotel, i the building was old but gold. On our way we saw RBI Headquarter, Sensex, SBI Headquarter, The Oberoi Hotel and The Gateway way of India. They were all amazing. They say Mumbai is a city of dreams n while we were in Mumbai ,it was like a dream to us. There were so so much big skyscrapers ,we had to tilt our neck to see its top. We never had seen such tall buildings.
One thing that we missed was to travel from Mumbai local trains because of Covid. Overall it was paisa vasool experience.we enjoyed a lot.
Everybody should go to Mumbai once in their lifetime.
Beaches and mountains have different swag but this city is no less than that.
