We boarded the 4.10 pm Deccan Queen to Lonavla and reached by 7.20 pm! Our taxi was waiting for us at the station and it took us to our guest house.
We unpacked, freshened up and had dinner. We saw that it was raining alot but were prepared with ponchos and umbrellas!
Our taxi arrived at 10 am and we headed to Tiger Point. We couldn't see anything because of the fog so we went to Rajmachi Garden and once again we saw nothing. Then we decided to go to the Mapro Garden for shopping and lunch. We had an Oven Fresh Pizza, Hot Chocolate, Soup and French fries. We then headed to the Maganlal Chikki Shop for chikki and Fudge shopping and then headed to Bhushi Dam! It was crowded to say the least but a fun experience.
We then went back to our guest house and took a walk around INS Shivaji. It was empty and we had a lovely time. We then retired for dinner and got ready for the next day.
The next day we decided to pack our bags and head at 10 am towards our first destination, Lohagad Fort. I have made another post on the trek up this fort so do check it out on my profile!
We then explored the Bhaja Waterfalls and the Bhaja Caves! After this lovely history lesson in the rain, we decided to head to Mapro Garden once again for lunch. We had grilled sandwiches, Hot Chocolate, soup, Mojito, Kesar Milk and Strawberries and Cream!
After this our taxi dropped us to the station and we boarded the 4.23 pm train back to Mumbai! We got off at Dadar due to the rush hour at CSMT and came home safely!
