On 28th i just finished my trip to mumbai/ pune, i was visiting mumbai first time so i was little nervous coz its a big city. But after when i reached there it was a life time experience for me. Some places are really beautiful and some are not that good coz of overcrowded. I was on budget travel so i stayed in dormitory for 7 days and i was really good experience for me. Best places for me in mumbai was Taj Hotel and gateway of India. From childhood i wanted to see Gateway of India with Taj hotel after reaching there the view was so mesmerizing, though it was crowded but the view was super awesome i also did boating there and i t was really fun doing.
On day 1 i didnt use local trains coz i didnt know how to use them but later i learned how to travel in local. Traveling in local is very easy it will help you to save lot of money if you are a solo traveler or traveling on budget and it is very convenient, easy. The weather in mumbai was also decent not too much humidity that we see all year, so in my opinion august was really good time to visit in mumbai.
I visited many places like beaches, malls, market it was really good experience for me in mumbai.
