We visited Lohagad fort in rainy season with friends and it was super amazing weather and too much rain from the morning. It is mainly preferable place in monsoon and famous among tourists and trekkers. It has proper steps constructed to reach at top. The road from Pune to Lohagad fort is very good and has got a lot of scenic beauty.
About the Place - It is certainly worth a visit. The view from the top is amazing. It is one of the easiest hikes in Maharashtra but suggest everyone carries a bottle of water. All the three gates of the fort are connected to the main entrance gate, called "Delhi Gate".
The fort gets hidden in the clouds all throughout the rains and some monkeys are there to snatch your items so beware of them .
How To Reach - The way to reach Lohagad fort is too easy and it will take almost 1 hr through bike from Pimple Saudagar which is around 50Kms. The roads are very well and easily accessible via Pune to Mumbai Highway.
