We wanted to do this trip since 3-4 years before we actually managed to do it..my not so great skills of bike riding and his wish to do a road trip..we decided to go on a scooty..yes Mumbai to Aurangabad..a 350+ kms journey on a scooty..the roads were horrible..but it didn't deter our enthusiasm one bit..being tea lovers tea stops were frequent and mandatory..we reached Aurangabad around the time we wanted despite the almost off roading adventure we experienced due to the road widening work in 50 kms stretch..Internal travelling in Aurangabad was even more enjoyable and each one of us wanted to be in the driver's seat..Even the receptionist at our Backpackers hostel was shocked when we told her we came on a scooty from Mumbai..I don't know what we did was stupid or adventurous..the thing I know that we loved it and would never mind doing such crazy stuff again in future..!!
Special mention: Prasen's Scooty..Maestro..!!
