Day 1

College life is crazy life. It is one of the most remarkable and lovable times of an individual's life. Unlike school life, college life has a different experience, and a person needs to have this experience in his/her life. That masti, partying hard with friends, bunking lecture and visiting crazy places, making memories by clicking pictures and tagging each other on social media are the craziest things that we do in college days. Its Its truely said that " Those were the days".

Remembering college days, I just want to share small experience I hope you all will like it and will take back you to your college days.

That day I was following my daily routine. I woke up by 8:30 am and got ready for college. My lecture used to start by 10:00 am. Somehow me and my other three friends reached late for lecture. Our professor didn't allowed us for attending lecture. I had never bunked classes during my college days . It was my first experience. That day my mood was little different and wanted to do something different and adventurous. I asked my friends and said, " chalo yaar, chalte hai kahin bahut time hua kahin Gaye nahi." They agreed with me and we decided to bunk class. we planned to visit a marine drive.

We took a local train to reach our destination. We reached marine line station in an hour. It's a nearest station to marine drive and then we booked a taxi for marine drive. Within just 20 minutes we reached to our destination.

Marine drive

(The Queen's necklace)

This beautiful tourist destination is also popularly called Queen's necklace as the sparkling streetlights along the huge coastline appear like a chain of stunning pearls at night creating a virtual picture of an elegant necklace.

That feeling was so different as we reached there, the road was linked with by palm trees and makes you feel like you are in heaven. We were just enjoying the beautiful scenario of arabian sea. To the north side is the chowpatty which I have mentioned in my previous blog which is famous among mumbaikers. It has a huge variety of fast food.

There was a tight security in marine drive as people from abroad are there in huge number. Proper security was made for visitors.

We were sitting and were feeling relaxed on the sea shore of marine drive and feeled refreshed by cool air. We were chilling and enjoying the moment by clicking pictures and ate a mouth watering chaat. And the best thing you can do here is to have some tea. No not from hotels but from chaiwalas who roam around with their cycles. I bet that you will not get that feeling even in a big coffee shop.

Funny Moment

The funniest thing happened that day was my friend lost one pair of chappal. She was just sitting hanging here legs and the chappal slipped from her toes and we were just laughing and making fun of her. Even she was laughing and she went home bare foot that day. She gave a life time memory to us.

Time to leave

After spending approximately 2 to 3 hours with friends it was time to take a leave from this beautiful place. And as it is said that Mumbai is a city that never sleeps. So this place is best enjoyed when visited during night. Trust me being in this place with your loved ones and having a cup of tea will give you more pleasure than having a cup of tea/coffee in any 5 star hotel.

It is believed that Marine drive is a pride of the "city of dreams". The beauty of this is so popular that many travelers land up at marine drive as soon as they reach Mumbai for their vacation. I can sit alone there for hours and talk to the sea. This is a great place to go and have fun. Once again I recommend to visit this place with your loved ones.

Thank you all for taking time from your busy schedule and read this short and lovely blog. I hope you enjoyed marine drive ride with me.

If you liked my blog than don't forget to like comment and share.

Bye and take care everyone. Have a good day😊
